Grace in Small Things #74

(because I really need one today)

1. The sound of my son’s laughter. Especially when he jumps on top of Noah and yells, “WESSOH TIME!”

2. Listening to Liliana’s hour-long monologue about Mother Nature and how nature is her original home and about plants and animals and bees and how much she loves science and how daughters are smarter than mothers. This after our neighbour asked Liliana if she knew how many words she could speak in 20 seconds.

3. Having a great long laugh at work.

4. A good, hard rain.

5. Being outside. In the garden, specifically. Which I get to plant very soon. Finally.

Schmutzie created Grace in Small Things to rage a battle against embitterment.

I think I’m just going to take to yelling WESSOH TIME randomly.

It makes me giggle every time!

Yay for wrestle time!!! Im with Liliana nature is my original home too ;) hahah kids are great eh? As for loving the good hard rain, I too enjoy the rain. But lately with the prospect of moving the 4th rainiest place in Canada I find it foreboding, ominous even… We have had 3 straight days of rain here in Red Deer which is fairly rare, and I feel like its mother nature (my original mother) warning me…preparing me?

Maybe! It’s rained here a whole bunch lately, too. I find I actually enjoy rain (for the first time ever) now that it’s a rare occurrence!
