gracious frosted light

Yesterday wasn’t the greatest day ever. I spent much of the day angry and bitter. One thing after another sent me closer and closer to completely losing it.

By the time we picked Noah up from work, I had one foot over the edge, so he suggested I take off for a while by myself.

A 5k run later, my head was a little clearer, I had a few sweet emails waiting for me, and I went to sleep calm and content.

The light shining through the frosted windshield this morning was a reminder to me that today is a new day, fresh with promises of its own.

Yes Jen we have take one day at a time and it sometimes it is easier said then done. Since I lost my husband on Feb. 10th I have many angry, bitter days…..but like you have Noah to help you through the rough times I am blessed with 2 sons and a daughter-in-law to help me get through mine. Take care and be gentle on yourself. :-)

I’m so sorry for your loss! That is very sad to hear. But I’m so glad to hear you have some fantastic family to care for you. :)

My new favourite song is “Good Morning” by Mandisa and Toby Mac. It’s a reminder for me that each day is new and can be good. It helps on my rough days
