I spent this first day of 7 Days cleaning and de-cluttering in OCD mode. I don’t know how many more Saturdays I have left before Three’s arrival (hopefully a couple), so I’m taking advantage of the time I have left.
I mostly worked on Kaylie’s room and it’s looking pretty fantastic. I’ve still got to go through her clothes, but other than that, it’s done.
This evening Noah, Kaylie, and I got to take in a Blades vs Pats hockey game. Just the three of us. It was pretty fantastic. Liliana stayed behind to boss around Big Papi and Miss Sue (Noah’s parents). That kid’s attitude has grown exponentially in the last couple weeks, my goodness – nothing her grandparents can’t handle.
We left five minutes before it was over to beat the traffic of 8,500 other people, but the score was 4-2 for the Blades, so I’m pretty sure they won. Our seats were great, the game was great, but there was a kid sitting behind me that I wanted to strangle. He had a blow-horn that he blew RIGHT IN MY RIGHT EAR every chance he got. He was away with his birthday party crew during most of the third period and it was marvelous.
It was nice for Kaylie to have her parents all to herself before she gains another younger sibling. And of course, the mini donuts helped too.
In other news, earlier this week our computer decided it did not want to work anymore, so, well, that’s just wonderful. Thank goodness for the WordPress app! So, if I’m slacking in blog-reading, that’s why. I haven’t figured out how to access my Reader yet. I can access Facebook and Twitter, so I’m not completely in the dark. It’s actually been pretty nice to be computer-less, but I’m sure the novelty will wear off quickly.
Did you all catch that super moon I keep hearing about? We’re clouded over, so I’ll just have to take your word for how it was.
