Little bit of a scare!

I took Kaylie in to get her preschool shots this morning. They went alright until we left the nurses room and Kaylie fainted. Yup, that’s right. Not cool. I was freaking out! The nurse grabbed her and took her to a little room and layed her down and yelled that she needed help. She was like, “Should I call an ambulance?” But they got her all fine and then asked her, “Did we scare you?” She said no, and the nurse was like, “Well I think you scared your mom!” Darn right!!!!!!! So, normally you have to wait in the waiting room for 15 minutes to make sure you’re alright and not having a reaction to the shots. Well, we stayed an hour and a half. She got her blood pressure taken like 6 times, had 4 nurses on her and yea, it’s all good now. Needless to say I called in sick for work and stayed home with her. She’s all good now. Layed on the couch all day and has a bit of a fever, which is a normal symptom. Anyway, I’m off to put her to bed now, just thought I’d share that little piece with you!

Scary! i’m glad she’s ok. Shots are no fun. Eva screams for a good 1/2 hour after her shots.

wow, I myself had a shot once for a real bad tooth, ensured the nurse that I wasn’t allergic to penicillin, promptly passed out, caused the nurse all sorts of stress, came to eventually, and had a nice cool rest on a stretcher for a while. All turned out good
