Mr. Bear

When my parents were here last, they bought each of the kids a build-a-bear. Since Noah’s favourite hockey team is the Pittsburgh Penguins, Preston’s bear was outfitted in Penguins gear.

Preston was too young at the time to take an interest in anything that wasn’t filled with milk, but recently he’s been joined at the hip with Mr. Bear.

Mr. Bear goes for a ride

He walks around hugging the bear (and saying, “hug!”), and he takes him for walks (runs, actually) in the yellow stroller. (Baby strollers aren’t just for girls! They have wheels, therefore they are a boy’s best friend.)

Now, Preston’s bear doesn’t always get the best treatment. He also gets dropped on his head and run over by the stroller that usually carries him and sometimes he gets a little soggy with drool.

And sometimes he gets neglected a little bit because there is a big truck outside, and trucks? They hold the trump card.

Aw, so sweet! My boys still have stuffy’s that rank up there in importance and it is simply awesome.

Ah, boys and stuffies. I’m still trying to allow William to play with his stuffies the way he wants. Throwing Tigger to the ground repeatedly does not say love to me, but hey, I’m a girl!

    Preston is The Cutest.

Our girls both have stuffies that are their best friends. They are beat-up and a lot more brown than they used to be (despite a bazillion rounds of the washing machine) and I think I’m attached to them having them as much as they are.

It’s good that Mr. Bear is such a good sport about the Big Trucks outside :)
