So, I’ve made it 10 days with this daily-photo thing. My hero cookie now, Bethany, thanks!
I’ve been feeling quite down this last week and all I can attribute it to is the lack of sunshine. The severe lack of sunshine. It’s hard to cope with cloudy skies and -36°C/-33°F temperatures. We’ve been spoiled with the warm temperatures, but I’ll take the cold if I can just have some sunshine.
January is bad anyway, with the end of the high of Christmas, and the dead of winter all around. I should hang out at Costco, as I’m sure they have their summer stuff out. If they had Christmas in August, they’ve got to have summer in January. I’ll check it out and spend the day walking down the aisles of camping gear and speedos.
Today, though? Today is good. Mondays are good. I’m part of a small percentage of North America who likes Mondays. And I think the sky might actually turn blue.
Anyway, without further ado, this past week’s photos:
Day 5: leaves
Day 6: something blue
Day 7: reading
Day 8: landscape
Day 9: shoes are not appropriate for Saskatchewan in January
Day 10: lucky I am to be able to have a bath and work at the time time, in the middle of a Sunday afternoon
I’ve kept with using my real camera and I forgot how much I love it. The actual shutter button. The weight. The way my hand wraps around it. Manual zoom. The only downside is adjusting for lower light, which, really, super hard, I know.
Dang iPhone camera making it all easy.
